Get ready world. The legend known as Johnny Manziel A.K.A. Johnny Football is BACK BABYYY!
And just like that, one of the most polarizing figures in the football world is back on the field ripping it up for the Zappers in the newly formed Fan Controlled Football League (FCF). The Zappers kicked off their season against the Marshawn Lynch and Mike Tyson owned Beasts, losing 48-44.
The league is unlike anything I've ever seen before, with names like: Marshawn Lynch, Quavo, Mike Tyson, Renee Montgomery, Austin Ekeler, Richard Sherman, and Trevor May all involved in ownership it looks like they have the star power to remain popular. The league also takes its name very seriously, allowing the fans to control everything; from picking jersey colors and drafting players, to actually calling the plays in-game via Twitch, in FCF the fan is truly in control.
Do I have any idea how any of that works? Nope. But I'm all in. A league that has fans choosing what Johnny Football does on the field and looks like the XFL, Madden, and Arena Football all had a baby? Sign me the fuck up.
